The blue water of Lake Tahoe is spectacular. We think it's even bluer from the seat of a bike!

Day 1 – Sacramento to Tahoe (150 miles)

Your tour leaves from the state capital of California: Sacramento. You’ll explore routes that are some of the best kept motorcycling secrets in Northern California as you wind your way up into the Sierra Nevada mountains in the heart of California’s Gold Country. If you’re looking for mountain vistas, this is the ride for you! In the afternoon, you’ll arrive at Lake Tahoe, the second deepest freshwater lake in the US. Known for its clear, blue water, the road around the lake makes for some spectacular scenery and (needless to say) great motorcycling!

Day 2 – Tahoe to Auburn (150 miles)

On Day 2, you'll continue your exploration of the stunning backroads of the Gold Country as your guide takes you on the paths less traveled. You'll start the day taking in the views from all angles as you ride around Lake Tahoe to the foothills, on your way to Loon Lake for a picnic lunch. The group will then head back for more great riding and an evening in Auburn, another town steeped in the rich mining history of the Sierra Nevada. In Auburn you'll have time to relax, explore and be treated to dinner at a local wine restaurant.

Day 3 – Auburn to Sacramento (130 miles)

Even though you’re a stone’s throw away from Sacramento, it’ll take you all day to get there. And with roads like these, that’s a very good thing! You’ll start your third day right with breakfast at Awful Annie’s. Then we’ll take you on a tour of some fabulous scenic country routes that will make you doubt you’re so close to the big city. Return to Sacramento will be approximately 5pm.
